dakota johnson is not a fan of Armie Hammerand made it perfectly clear when she made jokes about her cannibalism allegations…and while the Sundance crowd seemed amused, they also had negative reactions.
The actress did some digging at Armie while presenting an award to the director of ‘Call Me by Your Name’ Luca Guadagnino at the famous Park City Film Festival, UT.
Armie starred in the 2017 film and Dakota joked… “Luca had asked me to play the peach but our schedules conflicted. Thank goodness because then I would have been a different woman than Armie Hammer tried to eat.”
In the movie, Timothée ChalametThe character performs a sex act on a peach, which Armie’s character later discovers.
Dakota wasn’t done there, she also told the crowd, “It’s been 5 years since this movie came out here, and Luca kept taking us to exciting places. Who knew the cannibalism was so popular?
Armie Hammer accused of rape, he denies but the cops are investigating
Luca’s latest film, ‘Bones and All,’ stars Timothee and is about cannibalism…and Armie is notoriously harassed by allegations he’s laughing at cannibalistic fetisheswhich he vehemently denies.
Also relevant is the fact that the LAPD has been investigating some of these allegations for over 2 years now and that Hammer has not been charged with a single crime. Dakota is getting backlash online from people who support Armie, as well as those who believe his accusers. The criticism is that she was unfair to him, legally speaking… or insensitive to women.
A lose-lose classic.
Dakota and Armie have worked together in the past, teaming up for a one-on-one interview for Variety before he was accused of being a cannibal, but this salvo from Sundance shows that her perception of him has changed.
