LOS ANGELES — The Golden Globes partied in prime time on Tuesday night.
After NBC refused to air the awards show in 2022 due to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association scandal, viewers saw the Hollywood glitz and gravity of awards season – with “The Fabelmans” and “The Banshees of Steven Spielberg’s Inisherin” setting the tone with two major film wins each.
Eddie Murphy skewered Will Smith’s infamous Oscar slap in his Cecil B. DeMille award speech and host Jerrod Carmichael pranked Tom Cruise with a joke.
But the scene on stage at the star-filled Beverly Hilton was only part of the story.

‘Yellowstone’ Star Cole Hauser Loses Money Over Swearing
“Yellowstone” star Cole Hauser looked adorable during the show with his wife Cynthia, sitting with his arm around his wife’s chair like it was a date night. Earlier on the red carpet, Hauser admitted he was wasting a lot of time on the New Year’s resolution he made with his daughter Steely Rose.
“My daughter said every time I swear, I have to pay her a dollar,” Hauser said.
His wife of 16 years added: “He’s not having much success with it at the moment.”
Despite the growing payout, Hauser says the only downside to “Yellowstone’s” smash hit is that it “takes me away” from the family.
“It’s hard because I feel like everyone feels like they own my husband right now,” Cynthia added. “And all we want is time with him. That’s the time that’s hard.”

Towards the end of the show, “Black Panther” director Ryan Coogler and his wife Zinzi Evans confronted their young child, which caught Rihanna’s attention. Coogler handed the phone to Rihanna, who conveyed a heartfelt greeting.
A$AP Rocky was the perfect date for the Globes, holding Rihanna’s clutch and making sure no one stepped on her dress as the two made an early exit from the awards show.
Austin Butler can’t help but look like Elvis
If you thought Austin Butler still looked like Elvis Presley after starring in the Baz Luhrmann-directed biopic “Elvis,” you’re not alone.

“I don’t think I sound like him, but I guess I have to,” Butler said. “I compare it to when someone lives in another country for a long time.”
Amanda Seyfried Denied iPhone Acceptance Speech
‘Yellowstone’ stars Hauser and Mo Brings Plenty have announced Amanda Seyfried as the winner of Best Actress in a Limited Series for her role in ‘The Dropout,’ but said the actress is working on a new comedy musical and could not accept the award in person. All true.
But the duo didn’t hear the shouts from “The Dropout” table or see the video call with a casually dressed Seyfried seemingly ready to talk from an iPhone held in an outstretched hand. At least Seyfried saw the honor in real time.
Jennifer Coolidge lost in a sea of selfies
‘White Lotus’ star Jennifer Coolidge killed it on stage during her hilarious best actress in a limited series speech. At the official Billboard/HFPA Golden Globes afterparty, Coolidge was nearly devoured by a sea of selfie-seeking fans.
